About Finch
The stork dropped me in the little Southern town
of Litchfield, Michigan. My roots are intertwined
with that of the corn, wheat, and hayfields. My first
memories of country music were from my Grandma's
radio, and at the ripe old age of 4, I knew what I wanted
to do with my life.
I graduated somewhere near the bottom of my class, in
fact, I believe I was voted most likely to fail. I left home
for the Army and was supposed to go to Hawaii, but wound
up in Fort Polk, LA. While there, one of my friends from
Houston sold me an old Epiphone guitar, which I affectionately
called "My Guitt Fiddle." I quickly learned I could make my own
music; it came pretty naturally. Anyway, life moved forward,
and I found myself in Phoenix, met some people, who knew a few
people, and the next thing you know - I was making an album with
the multi-platinum producer of Leann Rimes - Small World!
I hope you enjoy my music as much as I enjoyed making it...
